Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team. This is a brand new, exciting position where you will play a fundamental role in the design and manufacture of bespoke, high value simulators for Defence and Aviation customers across the UK and Worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking of mechanical design activities against the assigned projects, in an efficient and effective manner. You will be working on a variety of state-of-the-art products for an impressive client base.

The Role:
*2D & 3D Mechanical Design for Aerospace and Defence projects
*Working on a mixture of civil and military products
*Working with MRP system, creating Bill of Materials
*Based near Failsworth, Manchester
The Candidate:
*Proficient in either Solidworks or Inventor
*SC Clearance will be required - This will be fully funded by the client
*Experience working with fabricated and machined parts - desirable
*Experience working with composites and tooling - desirable
