I am currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design engineer on an initial 1-month contract for a key client who require a skilled contractor to complete the design of brand-new line using AutoCAD 2D which is due to be installed in June.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineers duties:

• Drawing of plant layouts using AutoCAD 2D
• Detail design of new line (conveyors, baggers, hoppers, packers etc.)
• Working closely with the Design Manager
• Ensuring design project specifications are met
• Working to tight timescales / deadlines

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

• Knowledge production lines and plant layoutx
• Project design experience working to tight deadlines
• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Competent AutoCAD 2D user
• Motivated with a keen eye for detail
