I am currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design engineer on an initial 1-month contract for a key client who require a skilled contractor to complete the design of brand-new line using AutoCAD 2D which is due to be installed in June.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineers duties:
- Drawing of plant layouts using AutoCAD 2D
- Detail design of new line (conveyors, baggers, hoppers, packers etc.)
- Working closely with the Design Manager
- Ensuring design project specifications are met
- Working to tight timescales / deadlines
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Knowledge production lines and plant layoutx
- Project design experience working to tight deadlines
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Competent AutoCAD 2D user
- Motivated with a keen eye for detail
