Must have Top-Tier COMAH Site Experience…

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience of working within a top-tier COMAH site looking for a new role?

Must haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven engineering and maintenance experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical plant, particularly on a COMAH site.

Package:
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Matched up to 11.1% pension.
- Private medical.

Salary: £50-55K.
Hours: 35 hour working week, Mon-Fri.

Currently working with a leading chemical manufacturing business based in Eccles, Manchester looking for a Mechanical Engineer that will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems.
This role involves managing mechanical-biased projects, providing technical support, participating in process safety initiatives, and carrying out engineering design, all while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

As a Mechanical Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
- Manage and oversee mechanical-biased projects from initiation to completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance on mechanical aspects of projects.
- Conduct engineering design for mechanical systems and components.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant operations and improvement projects.
- Manage and oversee contractors and vendors for mechanical work.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Key Job Skills:
