The Mechanical Engineer's role
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing M&E consultancy services, ensuring project success from inception to completion. You will play a pivotal role in leading project teams, supporting technical delivery, and maintaining client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership on mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects.
- Overseeing M&E design and consultancy services
- Managing project teams and liaising with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Conducting site inspections and technical reviews.
- Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the M&E division.
The Mechanical Engineer
The ideal Mechanical Engineer will join at an Associate Director level and have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
- Extensive experience in M&E consultancy, with a strong mechanical bias.
- A proven track record in leading and delivering building services projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and hospitality.
- Strong leadership, client management, and communication skills.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a consultancy environment.
