Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer who has previously worked at a top-tier COMAH site and is looking for your next role? As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have experience managing mechanically biased projects, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance and health and safety regulations are adhered to. Offering a salary of £50-55K, working Monday to Friday days, based in Manchester.

The Role:

Managing projects from initiation to completion, providing technical support and guidance on all things mechanical
Participating in process safety initiatives
Support the design of mechanical systems and components for the projects
Develop and implement maintenance strategies procedures and methods
Participate in HAZOPs to identify and mitigate any potential risks
Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues promptly
Collaborate with other teams to support plant operations and work on improvement projects
Manage and oversee contractors for any project work
Maintain accurate record of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Suitable Candidate:

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Experience of working on a top-tier COMAH site
Proven engineering and maintenance experience within a chemical, pharmaceutical or petrochemical plant
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Good understanding of HSE regulations
Strong communication skills
Highly organised with good problem solving abilities

As a Mechanical Engineer, the company are offering a salary of £50-55K depending on experience, as well as a strong pension mated up to 11%, private medical, and 26 days holiday + stats
