Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical design projects, with a focus on UK Engineering Design - MEP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mechanical design projects, ensuring adherence to UK Engineering Design - MEP standards and regulations.
  • Develop and review mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design to consistently improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in UK Engineering Design - MEP, with a focus on mechanical design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing engineering projects.
