Our client is searching for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to spearhead their Mechanical Services team in their newly opened Manchester office. Located on Deansgate, this vibrant, modern workspace is at the center of the city, near Exchange Square, Northern Quarter, and The Arndale.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead and manage multiple Mechanical Services projects from design through post-contract stages.

·Develop comprehensive mechanical strategies and M&E specifications.

·Oversee the production of scheme design drawings and monitor installations.

·Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth and quality standards.

What They're Looking For:

·Degree qualified, ideally working towards Chartered status.

·Proven experience in project management, with strong client-facing abilities.

·Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Revit, Hevacomp).

·Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to travel for project needs.
