Role: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer Location: Greater Manchester Type: Temp contract (would consider permanent) Salary: £35 - £40 per hour (36 hours paid) Eden Brown Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Lecturer on behalf of a leading further education college in Greater Manchester. This is a full time, temporary opportunity where you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support. The successful Mechanical Engineer will be required teach on a range of courses at level 2 and level 3 including full time, part time and apprentices. You'll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles, whilst assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets. To apply for the role you will have: * A Recognised teaching qualification or good proven teaching/training experience * Industry experience * A minimum level 3 Mechanical Engineering related qualification * Literacy and Numeracy to at least level 2 * Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering to level 3 * Fitting milling and turning experience * Be available on a full time basis * An assessors IV qualification is Beneficial but not essential A current DBS will also be required for this role.
