Salary: 42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 38.75 hours per week

About the Role:
As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers across the UK, ensuring their powder coating systems operate at peak performance. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you will provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support, diagnosis, and maintenance for industrial powder coating systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, using advanced skills to diagnose and resolve faults in control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to maximize system efficiency.
- Develop expertise in powder coating applications and provide customer training on best practices.
- Carry out system upgrades, modifications, and repairs to improve equipment performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers, delivering high-quality service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, sales, and engineering, to optimize service delivery.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- Electrical qualification (Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, or minimum City & Guilds qualification).
- Experience in a field service role within an industrial or technical environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent customer service and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems related to industrial machinery.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare reports.
Desirable:
- Experience with industrial controls and automation systems.
- Knowledge of powder coating equipment and applications.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with weekly overnight stays (estimated 80% travel).
