Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced aerospace supply chain with a growing order book? We are seeking a First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) Inspector to join the Qualityteam and play a key role in ensuring quality compliance in manufacturing.

About the Role:

As a First Article Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and managing FAIR files and folder structures following a detailed process manual
  • Submitting FAIR reports to clients or uploading them to portals
  • Collaborating with management to meet client requirements and deadlines
  • Tracking and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for the FAIR process
  • Engaging in continuous learning and best practice training
  • Working closely with internal quality teams, clients, and suppliers within the aerospace industry

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries in a FAIR collation/submission role
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially aerospace sheet metal and assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Experience with manual inspection and part measurement
  • Proficiency in FAIR collation, review, approval, and submission (e.g., AS9102, Net-Inspect)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and document management tools
