Site based Lead Maintenance Electrician (Day Shift) - Manchester City Centre - National Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial Real Estate

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electricianto join our client on apermanentbasis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across the sector industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is asite based opportunity, located in Manchester City Centre.

Working as part of a shift pattern of DAYS ONLY, from 07:00am until 7:00pm of 3 on & 2 off; 2 on & 3 off; 2 on & 2 off - repeat.

Shift 1: 5 days work

Shift 2: 2 days work, then repeat every 2 weeks. 7 days work in a 2 week period.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

Qualifications:
  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
