Job Title: Maintenance TechniciansJob Location: Trafford Park, ManchesterSalary: £40,000Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, NightsShift Flow: Mornings, Nights, Afternoons rotating every week.Mon-ThursMornings 06:00:14:00, Nights 22:00-06:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00FridayMornings 06:00-12:00, Nights 18:00 - 24:00, Afternoons 12:00-18:00Duration: PermanentStart Date: ImmediatelyBenefits for you:* Comprehensive Training Programme.* 33 Days Holiday (Inc Bank Holidays)* Option to work OT and bank up to 5 additional holidays.* Flexible Benefits* Pension* On-site free parking* Private Healthcare* Development opportunitiesQualifications:* Time served NVQ and/or degree qualified in mechanical engineering or related field.* Minimum 4 years of experience in all aspects of CNC machinery maintenance/mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment.* Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centres.* Strong electrical, systems repair, and diagnostic skills with a solid foundation in mechanical systems.* Familiarity with CNC machinery, including multi-axis lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines, with experience working on Fanuc controls being advantageous.* Ability to read and interpret part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.* Knowledge of general manufacturing processes, including experience in commissioning and decommissioning machinery.* Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.* Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and bend/stoop on a regular basis.Responsibilities:* Repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machinery, manual machines, and machining centres.* Identify and resolve issues with hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.* Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal/vendor resources to research and address machine issues.* Conduct testing, make necessary adjustments to parts, and replace components as required.* Perform full condition appraisals on CNC machinery and implement planned and preventative maintenance procedures.* Assist in planning and executing machine moves.* Escalate any issues that could potentially disrupt production to the appropriate channels.Contact Information:Adam JacksonE: T: PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION
