Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in keeping production lines running smoothly? We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our client's dynamic Production team. You'll be essential in ensuring the production lines operate efficiently with minimal downtime, consistently delivering high-quality products. This role is crucial to the continuous operation of the facility, which runs 24/7, requiring you to work a 12.5-hour shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Technician, you'll be a key member of a multi-skilled team responsible for:

  • Line Setup: Preparing and setting up production lines, ensuring all equipment is installed for optimal operation.
  • Setting Adjustments: Fine-tuning equipment settings to maintain product quality and maximise efficiency.
  • Filling Checks & Adjustments: Performing routine checks and adjustments on filling machines for precise product filling.
  • Weigh Scale Calibration: Regularly calibrating weigh scales to meet strict tolerances and standards.
  • Parts Management: Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling machine parts to keep everything in perfect working order.
  • Maintenance: Conducting daily visual inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent potential issues.
  • Pump Setup & Purging: Ensuring pumps are properly set up and purged, ready for production.
  • Line Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production line operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulation checks to maintain high standards.
  • Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
