ROLE – Engineering Technician LOCATION - ManchesterTERM - PermanentSALARY- £23,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My client designs and manufactures specialist products for the Automotive and Aerospace sectors. They are looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.The Engineering Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Excellent hands-on electromechanical engineering skills
  • Ideally experienced with wiring, mechanical fitting and electrical assembly
  • A background in Manufacture
  • Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player
The Engineering Technician role will involve:
  • Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical assembly and manufacture of a variety of components and equipment
  • Working to procedures and instructions
  • Creating and installing sub-assemblies, looms and cables
  • Wiring, soldering and crimping
  • Testing and fault-finding
  • Repair and calibration
  • Working both independently and in a team
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
