Salary/Package - £35,000 - £43,000 OTE, Company Van/Fuel Card, Door to Door Travel, PPE/Tools, Mobile/Laptop, NO CALL OUT, OT available, Annual Bonus.

Client Profile

My client supplies specialist critical ventilation systems for the NHS, private healthcare providers, universities and research facilities.

Specialised ventilation is provided in areas such as operating departments, critical care and isolation facilities, in line with HTM 03-01 Specialised ventilation for healthcare.

The facilities management division provides ongoing maintenance of critical ventilation systems for safe, energy-efficient operation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Purpose of the role

You will work on Projects all over the UK. Therefore, you will also need to be flexible as there will be a need to work away from home and regular overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols
  • Validation of new and existing HVAC systems
  • Validation of Microbiological Safety Cabinets
  • Validation of Operating theatres to HTM 03-01
  • Identifying potential contamination issues within Client cleanrooms and advising improvements
  • Ensuring equipment operates to Specification.
  • Investigating and finding faults on site when failures occur
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with new and existing clients and site teams
  • Supporting the development of the Service Department.
  • Filter integrity testing (DOP testing)
  • Measurement of air supply/extract rates
  • Measurement of air change rates
  • Measurement of air velocities in isolators & LAF cabinets
  • Measurement of pressure differentials
  • Sampling of airborne particles
  • Sampling for airborne microbial contamination
  • Surface sampling for microbial contamination

You must have or hold

  • Educated to higher education level, preferable in science or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience
  • Working under GMP, P601 and HTM 03-01 conditions, including following Standard of Procedures and other method statements is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Full driving license
