My client are a prestigious, award-winning UK property and construction group with an excellent reputation for delivering significant, high-quality projects across the country. Schemes include luxury mixed-use developments and major residential / student accommodation projects.

Due to sustained growth, they are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join their team.

As Technical Manager, your role will include:

  • Familiar with building regulations, CDM Regulations, and Health and Safety standards.
  • Coordinate project teams throughout the planning and development process, monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Address coordination issues related to tenders and contracts between the design team, construction team, employer's agent, and client.
  • Manage the technical and design aspects of the project from site investigation and briefing through planning consent to practical completion.
  • Provide technical advice on project feasibility, determine constraints, and offer guidance on budgets, phasing, and timing.
  • Develop, monitor, and update budgets for development fees and utility costs, as well as cash flows for all project phases.
  • Execute technical duties at all stages of the project.
  • Offer post-completion technical support as needed.
