Are you an experienced vehicle damage assessor looking for a new opportunity?

Our client are expanding and on the lookout for more passionate vehicle damage assessors to join our thriving team.

Working hybrid, this desktop role involves overseeing all aspects of motor inspections to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently. We pride ourselves on having a dynamic and innovative working environment where our team of engineers are supported with the very best technology, systems and processes.

The successful candidate will:

  • engage in negotiating settlements for motor vehicles, directly liaising with our customers
  • work within agreed time frames and business parameters, tailored to meet the needs of the company
  • be in communication with repairers, business partners, and suppliers to ensure the smooth processing of claims and to achieve optimal engineering outcomes on the first attempt
  • will conduct audits to assess repairer performance, providing recommendations on repair quality, costs, and customer service
  • ensure that all work is carried out within agreed KPIs and SLAs and in accordance with our company values.

Place of Work: Hybrid (Office is located in Manchester City Centre).

Hours of Work: 9am-5pm (Full Time, Permanent)

Salary: £35,000- £38,000 DOE

Additional pay:

  • Loyalty bonus

Essential Requirements:

  • Member of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA
  • 2 years of Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles
  • Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with our customers.
  • PC literate with good administrative skills
  • Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary.
