A trend-driven accessories brand is looking for a commercial, charismatic and driven UK Account Manager to join their team. Their impressive customer list already includes iconic retailers including Selfridges, The Conran Shop, and Soho Farmhouse, along with leading independent retailers, concept stores, garden centres, and museum groups countrywide.

You will be based from home where you will manage existing retail customers whilst identifying new opportunities to grow their customer base across your geographical area of North of England and Scotland, and will visit their European head office every 4 months. We are looking for someone with a background in B2B/wholesale sales who has great relationship building skills, drive, and a genuine passion for retail.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Business development across your region of North of England and Scotland, identifying new sales opportunities, approaching potential customers, and following up on leads
  • Building strong relationships with the existing account base in your area, presenting new seasonal products and ranges, working to maximise spend
  • Supporting the European Sales Manager to grow and develop the brand coverage
  • Ensuring merchandising guidelines and brand image is followed for your customer base
  • Attending relevant trade shows, and regular travel throughout Europe as required
  • Creating reports as required, contributing to weekly sales meetings
  • Regular visits to their cool Pairs office (circa every 4 months)

Skills & experience required:

  • Wholesale sales experience essential, ideally within accessories, gifting, or consumer products
  • Passionate about a career in sales, with drive, and the ability to work autonomously (your manager is located in France)
  • A UK driving licence is essential as you will be travelling to see your customers regularly (car allowance & mileage is given)
  • A genuine interest in UK fashion and culture, with excellent knowledge of and passion for retail
  • Friendly and positive attitude, enjoys being part of a great team and business
  • Fantastic English communication skills, both written and verbal
