Hand tool experience is needed but full training will be given to the right candidate. Potential start date can be as soon as the 9th September following successful D&A.Â

Mechanical Fitter – Main Duties:
- Wheel-set overhaul, damage repair and engineering
- Bogie chassis, damage repair and clean
- Bogie and gearbox engineering / repair
- Wheel exchange on wheel sets
- Bearing, axle and wheel mounting
- Components and sub-assemblies overhaul repair and analysis
- Re-engineering and production of spare parts
They require a Fitter with a minimum 1 years relevant experience.
Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:
Must be comfortable using hand tools such as torque wrenches and spanners.
Able to use measuring equipment & over head crane (Training Given)
Salary / Hourly Rates:
PAYE: £15.87 - £17.35 per hour.
Overtime is £21.07 then £21.72 after 3 months
Rotating weeks.
Mornings:
Mon-Thursday:
06.00 - 14.00
Fri: 06.00 - 12 noonÂ
Afternoons:
Mon-Thurs: 14.00 - 22.00 &Â Fri: 12.00 - 18.00
Nights: Monday to Thursday: 22.00 - 06.00.
Friday: 18.00 - Midnight.
Successful candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test before starting.
