Assembly Technician
- 13.25 - 13.70 per hour
- Monday to Friday 40-hour weeks

We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for an Assembly/Mechanical Technician
The Job
- Manufacture and develop trim jigs for the 5 Axis machines.
- Dress and mount vac form tooling as required.
- Hand trim components for FAS and 5 Axis teaching aid.
- Produce all seat plastics components to the highest quality standard, including but notrestricted to the following processes (scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing and assembly)
- Work within the COSHH guidelines and ensure correct wearing of appropriate PPE.
- Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, ensuring a high calibre of quality is followed at all times.
- Ensure the workshop is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with companyEH&S policies/procedures.
- Kit components as required.
About you
- Manual Dexterity
- Proven experience in Assembly
- To be competent and proficient in the use of all workshop machinery through the company training program.
- Experience using hand tools
- Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME.
- Able to interpret Assembly/Engineering drawings
- To have a keen eye for detail.
