We’re hiring for a PCB Assembly Technician to join an established and growing manufacturing business based in Salford.

In this role, you’ll be a key part of the production team, ensuring high-quality electronic assemblies are manufactured to meet industry standards.

  • Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm OR 8:00am – 4:30pm

What will you be doing as a PCB Assembly Technician?

  • Hand soldering components to PCBs
  • Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards
  • Programming PCBs using test leads and fixtures
  • Performing functional testing on PCBs
  • Assembling PCBs using automated assembly equipment
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the Purchasing Coordinator

What do you need?

  • Experience in hand soldering and inspecting PCB components (J-STD-001 preferred)
  • Familiarity with PCB programming and testing procedures
  • Knowledge of working in an SMT manufacturing/production environment
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
