Check Manager - Manchester - Permanent role - 75,668.22 Plus 5K Flex Bonus

Are you an experienced aviation professional with strong leadership skills? We are looking for a Check Manager to oversee and deliver allocated maintenance inputs while ensuring full regulatory compliance. Working for a Global MRO facility based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

*Oversee and manage allocated maintenance projects, ensuring timely delivery.
*Lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
*Issue Certificates of Release to Service within the scope of authorisation.
*Conduct daily production briefings and provide regular updates to senior management.
*Ensure technical integrity and compliance with aviation regulations.
*Maintain a high standard of workplace cleanliness and tool control.
*Support audits, implement corrective actions, and contribute to budget management.
*Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with all procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:

*EASA/CAA Category B License with C certification by aircraft type.
*Minimum 5 years of Base Maintenance experience as a B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer.
*Strong understanding of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.
*Proven leadership experience with excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

Shift requirements:

*The shift requirements are Monday to Friday either working 7am to 3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30pm.
