As a MET Technician you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

We are a state-of-the-art crash repair centre specialist based in Manchester.

We have been perfecting our trade since 1985, Sapphire Garage has earned its reputation as one of the UK's best independant vehicle repair specialist.

We have several Manufacture approvals i.e. Mercedes,Hyundai, Mazda.Renault,Dacia and Nissan.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6.00am - 3.00pm or 7.00am - 4.00pm

Minimum requirements:

You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician/Strip fitter & gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ/ATA).

ADAS Accredited

Hybrid Trained

4-wheel alignment competent

All candidates must have previous Bodyshop experience at least 5 years in a busy Body Shop.

Must be able to understand & follow Thatcham or Manufacturer repair methods.

Work to the highest standard & demonstrate a sound up to date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

Must have a driving Licence.

Take responsibility for the quality of their work & be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus.

Key Responsibilities for this MET Technician role is:

Work efficently in a fast-pased accident repair centre.

Stripping & refitting parts on vehicles to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard.

Follow the correct repair techniques & produce work in line with factory specifications & customer satisfaction.

Diagnosing issues, repairing or replacing components.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical & trim issues on vehicle with effectiveness.

Repairing & replacement of damaged components, electrical wiring, interior trim & mechanical systems.

Dismantle & rebuild vehicles as instructed.

To report unseen damage,absent from estimate as soon as its identified.
