Junior Technician Job in Manchester

A Junior Technician job is now available joining an award-winning, employee-owned architecture practice based in Manchester. This company has over 25 years' experience delivering successful projects across residential, industrial, workplace, and retail sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing technical drawing packages for tender and construction
  • Work across RIBA stages 4-6 with exposure to all project phases
  • Coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors to support project delivery
  • Prepare Building Regulations drawings and Building Control submissions
  • Support with construction standard details, specifications, and schedules
  • Participate in internal CPD, mentoring, and structured development programmes
  • Ensure compliance with UK planning and building legislation, including CDM.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years UK experience in practice
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) is essential
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
