The Client is a leading supply chain company who have been operating for over 80 years with around 12,000 employees globally, in over 60 countries.
This position is responsible for supporting a new function within the business where they're using SAAS (Software As a Service) related products. This role would suit someone who is has a solid understanding of how sales teams operate and experience in providing high-level administrative and operational support to senior management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Demand Management & Process Support
You will be responsible for building and optimising tools and processes to support demand management reviews.
- Salesforce & Reporting Improvement
You will play a key role in improving our Salesforce system and reporting structures to enhance the visibility and accuracy of sales data.
- Administrative Support to the European Commercial Director:
You will provide administrative support to the European Commercial Director, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Process Improvement & Implementation:
You will proactively identify and recommend process improvements within the commercial team..
- Support on Regular Management Information (MI) Requirements:
You will assist in setting up regular MI reports for the commercial team, summarising key performance indicators (KPIs) and other sales metrics.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience working within a sales environment, ideally with exposure to commercial sales operations.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce, Jira Align, Excel, and IBP (Integrated Business Planning), with a strong understanding of how to use these tools for reporting and process automation.
- Direct experience in demand management, including setting up new processes through tooling and automation to manage sales forecasts, pipeline, and inventory effectively.
- Experience providing administrative support to a commercial or sales team, with an emphasis on streamlining processes and ensuring smooth operations across the team.
