What you'll do:

As an FP&A Analyst with Management Accountant responsibilities based in Manchester, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic decisions through your expertise in financial planning and analysis. Your day-to-day tasks will involve leading the budgeting process, analyzing financial performance against benchmarks, creating detailed reports using advanced tools like Excel for data visualization. You will also be responsible for preparing month-end close processes and compiling monthly management accounts. Your ability to manage intercompany reconciliations will ensure compliance with group policies. Furthermore, your involvement in year-end audit preparation will be crucial.

* Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

* Analyze financial performance against benchmarks, prepare variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.

* Create and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and performance packs using advanced Excel and visualization tools.

* Partner with business units to assess financial impacts of operational decisions and propose improvements.

* Monitor key business metrics, assess trends, and provide insights for long-term planning.

* Support decision-making with in-depth financial modeling, scenario analysis, and reporting.

* Prepare and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.

* Compile monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for multiple entities.

* Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure compliance with group policies.

* Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

What you bring:

As an FP&A Analyst with Management Accountant responsibilities, you bring a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis. * Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret financial data providing meaningful insights.
