The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Field Engineer to become part of  a Site based role on a major PowerStation refurbishment upgrade project.

This company is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various sectors, including chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. They have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities, specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning. 

The Role
As a Civil Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the company's clients across various sectors. The role will involve working on various projects and ensuring that assets are maintained efficiently, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Salary - £55-60k per annum plus benefits (possible flexibility for outstanding candidates).
This role will be based in Carrington, Manchester - Full time site-based role, with the option for some home working where possible.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Project Management: Overseeing the project’s progress and ensuring it stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring the materials and workmanship meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Safety Management: Implementing and monitoring safety protocols to protect workers and the public.
  • You will be responsible for tasks like surveying, overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering plans and safety regulations, and coordinating with other professionals on site.
  • Communication: Serving as a liaison between the construction crew, project managers, and other stakeholders.

You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience

  • Specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Highly competent in upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.
