- Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for a fast-paced volume production site, overseeing 30 to 50 staff members on shift.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in a time-sensitive, lean-focused manufacturing environment, preferably in sectors such as food, plastic, glass, or electronics.
- Experience managing temporary staff and knowledge of continuous improvement processes would be beneficial for this role.
- Candidates from a variety of volume manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience in managing skilled or semi-skilled workforces.
- The position offers a competitive salary of $75,000 per year and requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Although the majority of staff are permanent at peak times your team may be strengthened with the addition of contract / agency staff. It would be beneficial for the Manufacturing Manager to have had had previous experience of managing temporary staff with the issues this can bring up.
Previous work experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Manager ultimately chosen for this role can come from a wide range of backgrounds.
