E & M Talent Partners are currently supporting an outstanding Manufacturing business in Greater Manchester with the acquisition of a new Product Manager.

Established 55 years ago, the business quickly became recognised as leading player in their market with a commitment to progression, innovation and luxury and are now a global supplier servicing an international client base.

With a focus on not standing still and consistently developing new product ranges to stay ahead of the change demands of their customers, they are looking for a new Product Manager that fits that ethos.

Reporting into the Components Production Director, you will be responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts within their portfolio.

Duties will include:

  • Oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments
  • Manage both staff and material resources
  • Ensure production targets are achieved
  • Use of internal stocking system for planning/scheduling
  • Production planning
  • Supply chain management
  • Monitoring sales orders
  • Stock forecasting

To be successful in the role you would need to have worked in a busy and demanding manufacturing environment and be proficient in MS Excel.

It would also be advantageous to be able to read and use engineering drawings to ensure manufactured goods meet quality control standards.
