Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: circa 70-80,000 + car allowance + package
Senior Planning Engineer is currently required by a leading main contractor to join their regional construction business based in Greater Manchester. The Senior Planning Engineer will responsible for planning projects throughout their full life-cycle, from tender stage through to completion.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the pre-construction team and producing competitive tender programmes. They will also be responsible for providing contracting planning expertise to live projects in the North West. Projects are typically valued between 30-150m and cover a variety of build sectors including commercial, residential, education, student accommodation and healthcare to name a few.
Candidate
- Planning experience gained within main contracting environment within UK construction industry
- Proficient user of Asta Powerproject
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of different forms of contract
