Are you an experienced Senior Structural Engineer looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic, multidisciplinary engineering firm in Manchester? Our client is seeking a motivated professional like you!
You will manage a variety of projects and teams, ensuring the successful technical delivery of each scheme. A strong understanding of business development is essential, as you will play an active role in promoting the company's services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing staff across both national and international projects
- Representing our client at project meetings, site visits and industry events
- Effectively communicating and liaising with Clients, Architects and Contractors
- Work closely with senior staff to manage both personal and team workloads, to meet tight deadlines and budget constraints whilst providing expert advice and guidance
- Using your communication and coaching skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders, including leading design meetings
- Developing and expanding a client base in your area of work, targeting all sectors and fee ranges
- Project managing and completing structural design and detailing as required
- Conducting quality assurance tasks, including reviewing calculations, drawings, and reports before they are issued
