Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Professional Advice:

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff across the Trust, providing expert guidance on governance and assurance processes.

Quality, Safety, and Governance Strategies:

Drive the delivery of the Trust's and Divisional assurance, quality, safety, and governance strategies, aligning them with corporate objectives and the NHS Long Term Plan.

Development and Maintenance of Frameworks:

Lead the development and upkeep of the Divisional Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring it aligns with the Trust's Integrated Governance Quality Assurance Framework policies.

Assurance Systems and Oversight:

Collaborate with Divisional Directors, Directorate Managers, Senior Nurses, Clinical Leads, and the Associate Director of Governance and Assurance to establish systems that provide comprehensive insight, foresight, and oversight of quality and safety across the organisation.

This role is centred on quality improvement, safety, compliance, and assurance. You will work collaboratively to:

Ensure corporate and divisional adherence to standards set by Commissioners, Care Quality Commission, NHS England/Improvement, and other regulators.

Support the organisation in achieving excellence in quality governance and integrated care delivery.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients, staff, and service users.
