Flexible People are urgently seeking a van driver to help with the mat removals for one of our prestigious clients based in Manchester.
As a Van Driver/Mat Removeryou will be responsible for the servicing of various floor mats for our portfolio of clients within the service corridor. Candidates are responsible for the delivery of our services/goods to customer sites in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. Acting as ambassadors for our business, excellent customer service skills are required.
They are looking to interview now - however, the starts will be in January.
This position requires the candidates to be phisically fit as it involves heavy lifting.
The rate of pay for this position is 12.20ph.
The shift pattern is Monday-Friday full time on going. The start times are 0600am with the day being between 9-11 hours long.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily vehicle checks prior to starting customer service visits
- Complete all service schedules allocated by Operations Manager
- Ensure all paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods are checked and signed off
- Responsible for the removal and launder of mats from the premises of production
- Adhere to all H&S requirements, including manual handling of goods at all times, monitor working hours to ensure compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) Driving Time Directives (DTD)
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE andSKILLS REQUIRED
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Ability to organise and plan their own workload
- This is a standalone role where you will be required to work under your own initiative.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- An ability to remain professional and diplomatic whilst dealing with customers.
- The successful candidate will be subjected to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
The right candidates must be willing to work full time.
Please note you will be required to fill in some paperwork electronically before you can start as a Van Driver/Mat Remover.
All drivers must be over the age of 21,have driven a 3.5t vehiclefor a minimum of twoyears and have no more than 6 points on your driving licence, with no DD, DR or NI convictions.
