- Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
- Band: 6
- Location: Manchester
- Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
- Schedule: Full-time, Days
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Role Overview: As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing essential care and support to patients in their communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular home visits to ensure patients' needs are being met.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient adherence to treatment plans.
- Engaging with patients, assessing their mental health conditions, and identifying any changes in their well-being to ensure the most effective care.
- Performing thorough risk assessments to safeguard patients and those around them, ensuring a secure and supportive environment throughout their treatment.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Proven experience in community mental health.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- A commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to patients.
