The Nursery Manager will lead a large team of exceptional and supportive educators in a innovative and inclusive setting in the Manchester area.
The successful candidate will lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of a high-quality, play-based curriculum, in adherence to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, that fosters children's development in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Ensuring all policies and procedures related to safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety are strictly followed, you will be key in creating a safe, caring, and compliant environment for both children and staff.
As Nursery Manager you will build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are actively involved in their child’s learning as well as implementing strategies to attract new families and maintain a positive reputation for the nursery.
With the expert support of a centralised Talent Acquisition team, you will manage the recruitment, training, and performance of a dedicated team of early years educators, promoting continuous professional development and ensuring a motivated workforce. In addition, you oversee the nursery's financial performance, including budgeting, invoicing, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of care.
The successful candidate will have.
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
- Proven experience in leading a large team within a high occupancy nursery setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare regulations.
- Financial management experience, including budget control and reporting.
