Description

Reporting into the Head of People, and acting as part of a broader team, the People Business Partner will be responsible for;

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Act as a change agent to drive organisational transformation initiative

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent resolution process.
  • Advise managers on employment law, company policies, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and open communication.

Talent Management & Development

  • Identify and support talent development initiatives, including leadership training programs.
  • Drive succession planning and career development frameworks.
  • Partner with managers to identify high-potential employees and create development plans.

Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure effective workforce planning and organisational design.
  • Support recruitment efforts by providing guidance on role profiles, candidate assessment, and onboarding processes.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Coach managers to provide effective feedback and support employee growth.

HR Projects & Initiatives

  • Lead or contribute to HR projects such as DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) programs, engagement surveys, and culture-building activities.
  • Stay informed on HR trends and emerging technologies to enhance HR practices.

Profile

The successful applicant will have;

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, including time as an HR Business Partner in a tech or fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives in a rapidly evolving organisation
  • Strong track record in managing complex employee relations cases with a sound understanding of UK employment law
  • Practical knowledge of driving organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and workforce planning
  • Experience in facilitating cultural transformation within a tech-focused or innovative business environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS tools and HR analytics to measure and improve organisational effectiveness
  • A history of partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at all organisational levels
