Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic People Analyst to join their team in Manchester. This role offers an attractive daily rate of £200 - £250, reflecting the importance of the position within the organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing support across various policy areas and taking ownership of key workstreams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex situations and has a solid understanding of national and regional policy context, transport policy and regulatory frameworks.

What you'll do:

As a People Analyst, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. You will provide crucial support in developing strategic plans, offering insightful advice to internal teams while building robust relationships with external partners. Your ability to initiate and coordinate new initiatives will directly impact the business's ongoing evidence base development. Furthermore, your active participation in scoping and defining roles while supporting local plan implementation will be vital for the success of this role.

Provide professional support in the development and delivery of strategic plans and associated policy positions.Offer impactful strategic and policy advice internally, collaborating closely with external partners and stakeholders.Build strong relationships both internally and externally, influencing and shaping across the strategy and policy sphere.Initiate and coordinate the development and implementation of new and existing initiatives.Play an active part in scoping and defining the role whilst supporting the implementation of local plans.

What you bring:

The ideal People Analyst candidate brings a wealth of experience from working in complex situations, particularly in developing policies, strategies or business cases. Your understanding of national and regional policy contexts, transport policy, regulatory frameworks, along with your experience in contract and procurement management will be invaluable. Your communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is also required for this role.

  • Experience working in complex situations and in the development and approval of policies, strategies or business cases.
  • Solid understanding of national and regional policy context, transport policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience of contract and procurement management.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent level reached through experience.
