We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at one of the Trust in the North West England You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation for patients requiring ward-based treatment and discharge planning, within a supportive and collaborative environment. Opportunities for professional growth and development are a key focus of the Trust, ensuring all team members have the resources to excel.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients requiring rehabilitation and prepare comprehensive discharge plans.
  • Work independently and efficiently to ensure proactive discharge planning and effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with a therapy team, including a rehab technician and a physiotherapist.
  • Experience in community-based pathways is desirable to optimize patient length of stay.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating a range of conditions.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation and discharge plans.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with community-based pathways is advantageous.
