Occupational Therapist Team Manager, Manchester City CouncilPay rate £40 per hourVitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist Team Manager to join a Rehousing Team in Manchester.Job Role and Responsibilities: - We are looking for an OT with housing adaptations experience who can assess people in their own home for adaptations.  Work will also consist of matching applicants to available adapted homes and undertaking viewings to homes with these applicants. The role holder will ensure that through effective advice, planning and support and the utilisation of ‘joined up’ approaches, individuals are able to access housing that meets their needs. The role holder will work to provide direct support for individuals and families in accordance effectively identifying cases and/or managing a caseload to secure positive housing outcomes for Manchester residents. Effectively manage and be accountable for a caseload of cases through advice and guidance to improve outcomes for individuals and associated parties through positive rehousing outcomes.  The role holder will visit customers, both children and adults, at home to carry out medical assessments for priority for moving and to complete reports. To give high quality advice on the rehousing options available.
