Occupational Therapist/Senior Assessment Officer - ManchesterPay rate £37 per hourThe Talent Crowd are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist/Senior Assessment Officer in the Manchester City Council area.Job Purpose:The role involves carrying out functional assessments for disabled children across the city who have both physical and hidden disabilities. These assessments will take place in the child's home, sometimes at school as part of an MDT approach with health colleagues and social care team.They will be expected to carry a caseload and to case manage each allocation. You will identify equipment and adaptations that will promote the child's independence this will include postural seating, specialist equipment such as shower chairs, beds, moving and handling risk assessments, safe spaces, padded rooms and safety assessments. YYou will make submissions to majors panel for adaptations. You will be expected to attend CiN and MDT meetings where appropriate and liaise with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the disabled child.Please contact Molly Rylance on or email for more information.
