We are looking for an administrator to join our successful and expanding team at our Middleton site!

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office Manager and wider office team.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails, ensuring professional and timely responses.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of customer orders, purchase orders, and invoices.

Data Management

  • Input and manage data in company systems, including customer records, project updates.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and client portals with accurate and timely information.
  • Prepare reports for management using Excel and other software as required.

Customer and Supplier Interaction

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and inquiries, providing professional assistance.

Process Improvement and Compliance

  • Assist in refining administrative processes to enhance office efficiency.

General Office Duties

  • Monitor and order office supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Assist with filing, photocopying, and other general office tasks as needed.
  • Support other departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations across the business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Mathematics

Skills Required:

  • Strong Organisational Skills. The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Good Communication Skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone and email manner.
  • Technical Proficiency. You will be competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • Excellent Customer Service. Taking a positive, customer-focused attitude when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
