We are recruiting a Commercial Administrator to join our dedicated Commercial team in our Manchester office.

Due to planned growth for the foreseeable future, we have an opportunity for a Commercial Administrator looking for a career in the construction industry to join our team.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience and offers an excellent opportunity for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling, controlling, and billing work record sheets
  • Supporting the Quantity Surveyors in dealing with customer queries and cash collection
  • Preparing applications for payment and submissions (with supporting documents) to the client as per the contract timetable
  • Liaising with clients
  • Assisting with the production of mid and end-of-month reports
  • Document control

This Commercial Administrator role would suit candidates with experience or enthusiasm for gaining skills in admin, reporting, document control, customer service, and billing, or as an Administrator, Admin Assistant, Customer Service Coordinator, or similar role.

Essential Skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels professionally and a customer-focused approach to all tasks undertaken
  • Ability to prioritise workload to ensure delivery is achieved within timescales set
  • Computer literate and able to learn new software packages quickly
  • Plenty of initiative with strong attention to detail
  • An open-minded and innovative approach to problem-solving and the ability to comfortably fit into a teamwork environment
