Role: Office | Business Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: £35k + Bonuses + Equity Ownership + Other Great Benefits

The Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office | Business Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a broad and varied role, overseeing key business functions, including finance, HR, and office management across both UK and US operations.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who enjoys taking initiative and has the ability to shape and refine business processes in a rapidly growing fintech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing budgets and ensuring the financial sustainability of the business.
  • Managing policies, administration, and insurances for UK and US operations.
  • Ensuring efficient office management across multiple locations.
  • Supporting the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent.
  • Working closely with line managers to set objectives, ensuring team performance and accountability.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborating with the Compliance Manager to identify and mitigate risks.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within analytics or financial services.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Experience in HR and office administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive approach.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with data analytics and technology-driven solutions.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with international teams or in a global market.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside core hours when needed.
