The Company:Our client is a well-established and growing firm of Insolvency Practitioners based in the heart of Manchester. They are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to provide maternity leave cover for 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team in a key role ensuring the smooth running of the office.
The Role:As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, supporting the insolvency team, and ensuring a well-organised and efficient working environment. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing office administration, facilities, and supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Acting as the first point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally.

Supporting senior management with diary management, meeting coordination, and correspondence.

Assisting with HR-related tasks such as onboarding new staff and maintaining personnel records.

Overseeing document management, including filing, archiving, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Coordinating IT and office equipment maintenance, liaising with external providers where necessary.

Processing invoices, managing office budgets, and handling basic financial administration.

Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed within the office.

Supporting the wider insolvency team with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:

Proven experience in an Office Manager or similar administrative role, preferably within a professional services environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise confidently with colleagues and external contacts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT systems.

Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.

Attention to detail and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
