Trainee Office Administrator

Employment type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Stretford, Manchester

Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £25,397 Per Annum + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

If you are looking to transfer from Retail or Hospitality to an office-based administration role then this could be the ideal opportunity.

Our client is a family-owned business so you will be recognised and rewarded accordingly. If you have an appetite to learn new things and develop your skillset, then this is the ideal role. Due to growth, our client is looking for a further Administrator to join their support team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone
  • Liaising with internal and external customers
  • Giving quotations to clients over the phone and email.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Data entry, inputting orders.
  • Main point of contact for customers for any queries or updates.
  • Confirming delivery details and timelines.
  • Assisting office with general administration duties
  • Maintain all filing systems to an acceptable standard.
  • Ad Hoc duties - credit checking, presentations, reports

Experience/ Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a customer service type role
  • GCSE English and Maths C grade or above
  • Must have a confident telephone manner and the ability to provide an excellent level of service
  • Must be able to commute to Trafford Park on a daily basis
  • IT literate with knowledge of office software such as Word and Outlook
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
