We are recruiting for a Banksman / Handyperson to work on a mobile basis across the Greater Manchester area supporting engineers on a maintenance contract. The role will also involve general handyperson tasks to. The position isTemporary ongoing (with potential to recruit as a permanent handyperson) 12.75/hr basic hours, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. Expenses paid for travel between sites in the working day.

Role Spec:
The position is initially for a Banksman to assist on the backlog of gas works that is required on Greater Manchester retail facilities.
The role is to provide bank and spotting duties for the engineers as they work across the plant.
During the 40 hours per week the candidate will also be assisting general in maintenance handyperson works which can include:
Basic building maintenance
Caretaking duties
Compliance checks etc.
Handyperson tasks
This is also the plan for a longer term role of fabric maintenance handyperson that will come to the fore after the Banksman works have been completed.

Requirements:
Ideally we are looking for Fabric Maintenance operatives, Caretakers, Handy people or skilled labourers to join the team.
Must have a sound understanding of maintenance or facilities/estates sector work
Good client facing skills
Valid driving license as the role is mobile in nature
