With high demand for cover, this is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience before progressing into teaching roles. Work is available on a daily, part-time, or full-time basis, with options to work up to 5 days a week across multiple schools.
The Role:
* Position: Graduate Cover Supervisor
* Location: Secondary schools across Manchester
* Work Type: Part-time or full-time (flexible)
* Start Date: ASAP
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lesson materials across a range of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged
* Provide additional support to students where needed
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements:
* A strong academic background with a UK degree
* Previous experience ideal (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching)
* Confidence in leading a classroom and managing behaviour
* DBS on the update service
* Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
