Hourly Rate: £15 per hour

Trident Healthcare are seeking a motivated and compassionate Radiology Assistant to support the radiology team a leading private imaging centre in Manchester for 3 day per week. The ideal candidate will assist radiologists and technologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining equipment and workspaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
  • Assist radiologists and technologists during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment.
  • Ensure patient records are accurately updated and maintained.
  • Provide excellent patient care and support throughout their visit.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or training in radiology assistance is preferred.
