Job Title: Radiology Assistant
Location: Private Imaging Centre, Manchester
Job Type: Full-Time
Days: 3 days per week ongoing
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
Trident Healthcare are seeking a motivated and compassionate Radiology Assistant to support the radiology team a leading private imaging centre in Manchester for 3 day per week. The ideal candidate will assist radiologists and technologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining equipment and workspaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Assist radiologists and technologists during imaging procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment.
- Ensure patient records are accurately updated and maintained.
- Provide excellent patient care and support throughout their visit.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training in radiology assistance is preferred.
