About the RoleAs a Site Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth day-to-day operations of the school. Working as part of the premises team, you will ensure that the school buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, prioritising safety, cleanliness, and functionality.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general maintenance and repairs across the school site.
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of rooms for events, exams, or assemblies.
  • Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on building and equipment conditions, identifying areas needing attention.
  • Supporting the premises team in responding to emergencies or urgent tasks.

This full-time role is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

About YouTo be considered for this position, you must:

  • Have previous experience working within schools or the education sector in a similar role.
  • Be knowledgeable about site management, including maintenance, repairs, and health and safety compliance.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Be proactive, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
